What People Are Saying
"I arrived at this retreat knowing no one and instantly felt like I'd known every woman there forever. That's the beauty in gatherings like this. I was a bit nervous how my body would respond to the long travel days, the hiking, the sleeping arrangements, etc. but was pleasantly surprised at how well I did. I left feeling so full - grateful for new friends that I was able to share such an amazing experience with, grateful for the beauty I was able to witness and document, and grateful for the deep chats, the hugs, the tears, the understanding, and all the laughter”
- Heartventure Participant, 2023
“This retreat is the best thing I've done this year. Choosing to take the chance and invest in myself, despite having just quit my job, was SO worth it! An opportunity to show up fully and authentically as yourself and be accepted for it. To connect with like-minded women and have soulful, meaningful conversations. A chance to crack your soul wide open and invite in joy, purpose and love.”

Learn more about Hannah on this episode of the Heartventures podcast
Hannah has a passion for creating inclusive, supportive spaces for women to gather, exhale and laugh! With her intentional intuition, she makes and sees connections all around her - everywhere! constantly! (can’t seem to shut it off ;)
Hannah lives for sharing experiences with others, learning their unique life stories, laughing until it hurts, wandering down alleyways, popping champagne on boats, and doing it all again the next day.
When she is not exploring, you can find her with a cup of coffee in hand, three cats on her lap - three kids and a husband running around her - discussing the next steps for strategically dismantling the patriarchy, while simultaneously planning her (and your) next travel adventure.
In her next life she plans to be a recurring cast member of Saturday Night Live so she can make even more people laugh.

FAQ’S
Where do we fly into?
We are asking people to be in Inverness for October 22nd. Accommodations and dinner will be provided that night. We leave very early in the morning of October 23rd for Applecross.
Where is the retreat space located and what does it look like?
It feels and looks like we are in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the highlands and nothing else, but in fact we are in a little area called Applecross and there is a little village within walking distance that houses a few cafes and two Michelin starred restaurants. You can view the space by clicking HERE!
Is this retreat for photographers?
Although photography will be a component on any Heartventure, it is not all required that the participants be photographers. This is primarily a women’s hiking retreat.
Deedee will always throw some photography tips and tricks in there.
What do you mean by incidentals?
Anything from a coffee here and there, to tampons or advil, to anything
that might come up while traveling, as well as any souvenirs.
I have dietary restrictions, will they be taken into consideration?
As much as possible, yes they will be. However, there may be times in
restaurants where your needs may not be able to be met.
Will the hikes we go on be difficult?
the hikes we have chosen are categorized as moderate. You need to be in
good physical shape to participate. You do not need to be fast, but you do
need to be able to walk on uneven trails for 4-6 hours at a time.
What if I think I can do the hikes but in the end I’m unable?
We take everyone’s needs into consideration. Please understand that this
is a hiking retreat, so if you're not someone who enjoys hiking, please don’t
sign up. However, the hikes chosen can always be modified and if you
need to sit a couple out, you can choose to do so.
What do I need to bring?
We will send along an email closer to the date of the retreat with a packing
list and any other last minute need to knows.
